What you need

• An iPhone with iOS 18.6 or later and a tripod or clamp.
• Spynlab balls — the app reads their dots. With ordinary balls it shows nothing.
• A well-lit table.

Setting up the phone Sideways, at the side of the table, about 2 m away and a little above it. The whole table should be in view. Open the app; the camera starts by itself and, while you set the phone up, tells you which way to move it.

Questions

Hits say "not measured". Check that you play a Spynlab ball, the table is well lit and the phone is about 2 m away. Far and very fast balls read less often.

"Phone too hot". Measuring pauses until the phone cools down. Keep it out of the sun, take off the case, plug in the charger.

"This iPhone is too slow". Older models can't process every frame. Some hits will have no reading.

How much spin does it show? Up to 110 rps; above that, "> 110".
